Sunday = a day of rest
I wish i could say that I was at rest today. I slept in until 8:30am which is an extra 3hrs from my weekly schedule. I made it to sacrament this afternoon and that was nice. I even talked with my parents this evening and discussed the past thanksgiving weekend. It was so nice to see everyone (in CA for the Holiday). So I didn't completely rest today because i took the morning to do a little hill work out. Running in the avenues the other night gave my knees a ache, so I wanted to correct that by doing some runs on another hill.
I feel I must take advantage of these little coupons...
so a friend named one "F" Jef enjoyed the day running the mountain with me.
a sunny sunday is good...

Don't forget that you are running this marathon and not snowboarding it. Besides, I don't need you getting injured now.
Some tips.
Work up to it. I'm worried about you running too hard now and wearing yourself out but if you can do it, you can do it--every body is different and you do seem suited for running.
To quote Rocky's coach, "You're gonna' eat lightnin' and crap thunda'." I saw a great book on running at Uncle COSTCO's once. It detailed proper dieting, speeds, distances, regularity of running, on what surfaces, etc. You may want to go to the bookstore and have a sit for a half hour. Don't buy a book--but look for something in the store and spend a short time gleaning the best from it--just speed reading. It was helpful for me when I started running again a few years back.
Lastly, listen to your body. Yes, you're training and you need to be disciplined but don't kill yourself. When you're injured or your body tells you to stop you need to listen.
Also, I'm confused. What's this about a treadmill? I'm not coming up there to eat KFC and watch you run a marathon on a treadmill. If there's a 50-year blizzard, you're running down State Street. Unless we shoot a video of State Street at running speed and project it in front of you and then film your virtual marathon because that might make for an interesting art piece.
